One of the spring/summer trends I was most excited for this
year was printed pants. Apparently I was
so excited that I ran out and purchased a whole passel of them. Seriously, the Printed Plains in Nosh Opping
is filled with printed pants. Like this

I can’t help it; I really do love a printed pant. I especially love the teal color and the irregular
black dots on this pair. I think the irregularity of the dots lend the
pants a sort of leopard look from far away, and that’s always fun. I paired today's printed pants (LOFT) with a tangerine
top (Old Navy), espadrille wedges (Corso Como via Piperlime) and a few
bracelets.
This is my fourth, and last, I think, pair of printed pants
in The Giants Closet. The other pairs

I don’t know why I have so many, but seeing them all in one
place, I’m glad I found them. They are
all, except for this LOFT pair, thrifted, and this pair was less than $10.00,
so it’s a trend that I was able to find for not a lot of money. However, I still recognize that I have enough
pairs of printed pants to last me so while I’m not getting rid of any, I also
won’t be buying any more once my expedition is over.

ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure what to think of printed pants. I like some, but there are some out there that are just *too much* for me. I don't own any (unless you count really subtle pin stripes...but I don't think those count)and I think I'm still not ready to take that step. But you and so many others really rock them, so maybe with time...

I own one pair of printed pants and i like them, but I don't think I'm as big a fan as you are.

I think that printed pants look awesome on taller people...I'm 5'3 and chubby and I havent seen any bloggers that look like me blog about them. You look really great though - you look like you've lost a lot of weight since I started following you last year. Good for you:)

All of your printed pants are lovely, but I think my favorite is the teal pair. They really pop with the coral top. :) Hmm, I'd like to try out printed pants someday, but I'm trying to get back on my shopping ban, so that won't be anytime soon. :)

ReplyDeleteI love the coral top with the blue printed pants. Great color combo. I love a printed skirt or a printed short, but I haven't been bold enough for a printed pant (except pinstripe).
ReplyDeletehaha well they are all lovely! I feel like I did the same with neon jeans... I have yellow, blue and pink. Now I feel overwhelmed by color (is that possible?). I also purchased polka dot pants and LOVE them. Perhaps I'll be joining you as the crazy printed pants lady :)
