“Neon Peach” refers both to the belt I wore today and to my
next band. It’s going to be an all-girl
80s cover band and it’s going to be epic.
I wore my neon peach belt (IZOD via Marshall’s) with a
vintage floral dress (Anthony Richards via Goodwill), a navy cardigan (JC
Penney), blue tights (DKNY via Nordstrom) and Born riding boots (“Sosie” via
Nordstrom). But the best part of this
outfit? Another Lynne pin:
This one is made of little clusters of awesomeness that happen to go
fabulously with my neon peach belt. I
love it.
And that is all I have to say about that. I have a four-day weekend coming up so I’ll
wish everyone a fabulous, safe New Year now, and I’ll see you on the other
side!
Gracey

That is so cute. I love that color belt with the blue dress. Those boots pull the whole outfit together.
ReplyDeleteGracie- I love it! Both the band and the outfit- and the brooch- major score!
ReplyDeletePS: My band is going to be called Ghost Kitty. All I need is to learn how to schreech, uh, I mean sing.
Booooots. Love your boots! And your Lynne pin. (Which now that I consider would be an excellent name for a product lol!) See you in the new year Gracey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Gracey! You never disappoint! Lynne now needs to be a pin-sourcer and use that trade name x
ReplyDeleteJust so cute! I love the cardi with the dress, and the peach accents are Pretty with a capital P!
ReplyDeleteReally cute outfit!!!! I love the neon peach belt and the pin is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of neon peach before -- but it's pretty fab. Love this combination and your new pin!

I love this. I will totally join your band if that's what we're going to call it. I'm in :) I really love your boots, I'm in need of a pair of boots like this but I haven't checked into Born yet. I will have to do that! Happy long weekend darling!
ReplyDeleteLove the cardi and boots!
ReplyDeleteYou. Look. Gorgeous. ♥
ReplyDeleteBlue is so your color! And Neon Peach sounds like an ideal name for an 80s band...I can only imagine what the band's attire would look like!

Knocked Up Fabulous
Just discovered your blog and love your style! Must invest in more belts in 2013.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, fabulous brooch, and best band name! When are you touring? Are you coming to the UK? Will you do Love is a Battlefield?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful new year, Gracey! xxxx
I want a band t-shirt to proclaim my groupie-ness! And will Neon Peach sing the beautiful blues of this outfit? I love it all - the silhouette, proportions, print, palette, everything!
ReplyDeleteI don't play any instrument or even sing, but I will be your road manager for your 80's cover band
ReplyDeleteLove the Bangles and The GoGo's so much back then.

Love this outfit! The dress is super cute, and the pin is the perfect accessory! I'd forgotten about pins and brooches, and I'm using a couple in an upcoming post!

Love your personality as much as your clothes. And I just finished reading Sally's book. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletei'm all for an 80s girl band! the name would be perfect, lol!!
ReplyDelete[oomph.]
Love the dress and the outfit. A girl cover band sounds like a lot of fun! I did see the Mixtape musical in SD a couple of months ago and that was a lot of fun as the 80ties was fun!
ReplyDeletePlease make that 80's cover band happen - I would go see you guys perform :)
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit today! That dress is so pretty, and the pin is darling.
you and goodwill, how do you do it? you look so, so cute in this! Happy New Year to my new found blog friend!
ReplyDeleteFor last year's words belong to last year's language
ReplyDeleteAnd next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.

Wishing you joy, love, laughter and magical moments in 2013.
Happy New Year Gracie.
YES! Please start an 80s cover band ;) hehe
ReplyDeleteLove the brooch, it definitely pops against the neon peach belt!
How can I reserve the album? :)
ReplyDeleteYou find the prettiest thrifted vintage dresses. I may be looking at them wrong 'round here. Whenever I think I've found a "Gracey dress" that might fit me, they never do - and some of them have had gorgeous, gorgeous fabric AND pleated skirts.
This is how much I love you. I actually mailed you that pin. Don't think those dangling beads didn't intrigue me like a very pretty cat toy...lol.
Happy New Year Gracey!
ReplyDeleteI think that is both an awesome belt, and band name. I'm sure you gals would rock.
Chic on the Cheap
Your smile is infectious. I can't help but grin whenever I look at your photos. Thank you for bringing me so much joy in 2012. Here's to a wonderful 2013.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so flippin' cute!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty dress xo
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! A dress with tights, boots and a cardi is my favorite combo for fall/ winter.
ReplyDeleteOooooh can I join your band? You don't need singing ability or musical talent in any way to join right? I love your dress! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteI just love this outfit to bits! Perfect!:)
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Gracey and thank you for the card!:)
