Double Denim and Neon Stripes

Remember when double denim was all the rage and all the cool bloggers wore it and we all wondered how they did it?  Well, I still have no idea and I'm pretty sure it's no longer all the rage, but I went ahead and wore double denim anyway:

Tunic: Old Navy  Skinnies: Wit & Wisdom  Boots: Nine West

And I paired it with neon stripes.  I'm pretty sure that, like double denim, neon is now passe, but I happen to like neon stripes.  Especially these neon stripes:

This scarf reminds me of a tee from the 80s, in the best possible way.  And I don't care if neon's fifteen minutes of fame are up, I'm going to keep wearing this scarf.  And probably double denim too.  Just because.
