I am convinced (convinced!) that these are the best earrings ever:
At the very least, they are the coolest earrings I own and I love them. I got them last Monday when I was looking for a rhinestone brooch for this Saturday. They are vintage, and for some reason, they were only $3.00! And, unless the reason they were only $3.00 is because they turn ears green, I will be wearing the heck out of them. I may even wear them if they do turn my ears green. Because I’m hard-core like that (which, btw, when I hear hard-core, I always think parkour and it makes me laugh. For no reason).

I also wore clothes today:
I layered a men’s button-up (thrifted) under a long wool cardigan (Ports International, thrifted) and over black leggings (Ross). For the accessories, I decided to stay with the “Big Cat” theme of the earrings and added a leopard belt and my animal print wedges (80%20 via Piperlime). Blah, blah, blah; did you see the earrings?!
Happy Thursday, All!

Those earrings are soooo awesome! $3 is a great deal for them! I also love your long layers and pops of leopard. Meow!

I love this look--the crispness of the blouse, with the leopard belt, and the long red cardigan is sharp! And what a great pair of earrings!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! And the earrings are pretty cool, too!
ReplyDeleteFantastic earrings!! I like how you doubled up on the animal print as well. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! Are those earrings vintage '80s? Because I remember a LOT of lion head jewelery from back then. Love the mixed animal prints as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure "hard-core" makes you think of "parkour!" which makes you think of Schmidt from New Girl, and that's why you laugh.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is gorgeous. So rich!
Ha, those really are cool earrings! and your outfit is fab! Got a similar blouse and cardigan. This might just be their next combination. Thx for the inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great outfit. You can anticipate some plagiarism on my blog soon. I love the earrings. Everything is better with lions' heads. Of course I love the shoes too.
ReplyDeletethey are very cool! score! and fingers crossed they don't make your skin green!
ReplyDeleteHard-core! Parkour! Schmidt! I'm so happy now. And a little giggly.
ReplyDeleteI love those earrings. It is so much fun to find old accessories at the thrift store and rework them. There is a little flea market right by my house that has the best stuff like that. I also love the mens shirt repurposed and those leopard wedges.
ReplyDeleteThose earrings are amazing and I'm with you- even if they turned my ears green, I would just paint clear nail polish over the back and continue rocking them! :) I love the funky shoes and the leopard print belt!
ReplyDeleteyou look classic & sophisticated dear gracey. i've heard if you use clear nail polish on jewelry it prevents things from turning green. i wonder how your ears would react to that though?
ReplyDeleteGracey! My lands! This outfit is superb...looooooooooooove the red/leopard, those booties are so edgy and wonderful, and the earrings are STUNNERS. Please do wear them everywhere all the time.

I'm loving that red cardigan. It's definitely a great colour on you.
ReplyDeleteThose earrings make me think of Mia. They look faboo on you! And that duster!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you styled the long cardigan! I am going to have to borrow this idea.
ReplyDelete"I also wore clothes today" hahahaha so funny! Yes! Those earrings are AMAZING and at $3, a serious steal! Just paint some clear nail polish on them to keep them from turning too much :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some seriously awesome earrings! I know that when I buy jewelry it would be much more sensible to buy simple pieces, but somehow I'm always drawn to crazy, eye-catching pieces like those earrings!
