Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was busy, busy, busy, but in the most fabulous way. Also fabulous is today’s Take Four theme: Saturated Hues. I’m a big fan of rich, bold color, so the berry, emerald and cobalt shades that were shown on the runways for this fall thrill me to no end. For my take on the trend, I went with berry:
I layered my cranberry wool cardigan (Ports International, thrifted) with a black and cream brushstroke printed sleeveless dress (Target). I added a thin brown belt (Gap), black tights (Spanx via Nordstrom), burgundy pumps (Naya “Jada” via Nordstrom) and a few accessories.
Want to see more outfits incorporating this fall’s saturated hues? Visit Bekah at Matters of Merrymaking, Kelsey at Charming Pumpkin and Karla at Frugal Big Girl to see how they rocked the trend.
Happy Monday, Everyone!

I love this outfit, Gracey! That color is absolutely gorgeous on you. And as usual, I saw your shoes and squealed. I heart Naya shoes.

ReplyDeleteI love this cardigan! Cardis are my complete weakness. I can never resist a good one.
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes! I've had a similar pair by Privo in my cart for months now. I always love red with an animal print, and that shade of red looks great on you!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love your outfits.
ReplyDeleteAnother blogger was saying how, since her daughter is the same size, she has twice as many clothes to choose from. That got me thinking: of all the bloggers I know, considering whose fashion-taste I identify with and who isn't under 5-feet tall, you would be the person whose closet I'd want to share. In my fantasy life, you'd be my sister!
Gracey, you are killin it with these outfits. They are so sharp, darling. That dress is beautiful on you. You really know how to dress yourself...if that makes sense. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo
ReplyDeleteGaw-geous! I too am a big fan of the saturated colors and jewel tones that are in right now, and you're Doing It Right. Work it!
