I was out sick yesterday with a cold, and am still feeling a bit under the weather, so I’m afraid I don’t have much to offer you all today in the way of words. I do have pictures though:
I am, admittedly, still sick, but I rather like this outfit. Last time I wore this skirt (Eileen Fisher, thrifted), I wanted to try it with gray so today I’ve paired it with a charcoal gray sweater (Tulle) which I layered over a white tank (Gap). I also added my ever-present riding boots (Born Crown “Sosie” via Nordstrom) and a few bracelets. And yes, I know I wear these boots with everything, but, they go with everything so, really, I just take advantage of that fact.

Really GREAT colour-pairing, with the yellow and grey. Added to my list of possibilities, now I've gone and made friends with yellow. I love those boots, and I'm always happy to see them! I'm still searching for my own personal pair of goes-with-everything boots, although my new riding-style boots would probably fit that category, if only they were brown, instead of black.

ReplyDeleteI just came from looking at Sal's skirt at Already Pretty, and as much as I love Sal, I have to say that your version of the yellow skirt works so much more for me with the strong-but-neutral charcoal sweater. And why wouldn't you wear those boots everywhere? They're awesome!
I love this outfit! The combination of the grey and the yellow is terrific! And I completely understand what you mean about your boots. I usually have to force myself to wear other shoes because, well, I love my boots and they go with everything! =)
