I wore flame and teal today so I figured I'd feature flame for today's Five for Friday:
1. Calvin Klein Ellasandra Flats - These shoes delight me to no end. I know the white heel won't appeal to everyone, but I think it gives these flats a sort of retro flare and I love it. Also, they're under $40.00!
2. Loren Hope "Sophia" Stud Earrings - Big studs are a great earring choice for fall and winter because they won't get caught on your scarf like dangly earrings are prone to do.
3. Modcloth Plaid Circle Scarf - Speaking of scarves, this one is perfect for fall. It practically screams apple cider and pumpkin spice everything. Also, it has a bit of teal in there, so, yeah, perfect.
4. Gap Sheer Plaid Scarf - Don't like that much orange near your face? That's okay, we can still be friends (I guess). And you can wear this sheer scarf instead. It also has a bit of teal in it and so is also awesome.
5. Lands' End Cotton Shaker Cardigan - Last, but not in the least, least, we have this gorgeous flame-colored cardigan. It comes in teal as well as flame, is available in Regular, Petite and Tall, and I want one. Badly.
How about you, Reader Friends? Do you like "flame" for fall?
Happy Friday, All!

Five For Friday: Cardians
Although it's pretty warm here today, it's been much cooler this week. So cool, in fact, that it's got me thinking about Fall. Or, as I like to call it, Cardigan Season.
To celebrate the fact that Cardigan Season is nearly upon us, I've picked five cardigans I'd love to wear this season:
1. Nordstrom Blue Star Geo Print Cardigan - This cardigan is perfect for now, and for regions with milder Cardigan Seasons. Also, the print is amazing and it's on sale. Yay!
2. LOFT V-Neck Cardigan - In spite of the fact that LOFT stubbornly refuses to make these cardigans in Tall sizes (Why, LOFT? Why?), I still like them. Especially when they come in pretty colors like this orange-y nutmeg shade.
3. Target "Tribal" Print Cardigan - I'm showing the back of this cardigan so you can get the full effect of the awesome mix of colors and prints. The front is similar, but with buttons. Available in plus sizes too.
4. Gap Merino Wool Cardigan - The beautiful berry color of this cardigan is everything to me.
5. Modcloth "You Heard That Bright" Cardigan - For some reason I already own several navy blue cardigans. And yet I still feel like I need *this* navy blue cardigan. I mean, who doesn't need a navy blue cardigan with multi-colored zigzags??
How about you, Reader Friends? Are you excited for Cardigan Season?

Five for Friday: Last Hurrah at the NAS
If you haven't shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet, you're running out of time! The sale ends on Sunday. Now, I shared my picks for my taller readers with this post. A lot of those picks are gone now, but there are still some great items left.
Here are five of favorite pieces still on sale, but only through Sunday!
1. Halogen Chevron Silk Skinny Scarf - It's well documented that I love a skinny scarf. And I particularly love the 70s feel of this one. It's available in three different colorways and also a floral version, here.
2. Pleione Bell Cuff Blouse - These delicate bell sleeves add just enough drama to an outfit without going full-Elvira. Available in a print and five colors, (including black, so you can go half-Elvira if you need).
3. Halogen Windowpane Check A-Line Skirt - This skirt is so darned adorably mod, I love it!! Paired with tights and a black turtleneck sweater, it's perfect for fall.
4. Trouve Faux Leather Pleat Skirt - Because I am unable to resist pleats in any fabrication. This skirt is getting great reviews, but it reportedly runs large, so be aware.
5. Benardo Textured Long Coat - A gorgeous, lightweight coat for fall or mild winters. It would look great worn with that check skirt and turtleneck sweater combination we talked about earlier.
Happy Shopping, All!

Shopping for Giants: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
As many (most? all?) of you know, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started on Friday. One of the reasons I love this sale is because it's a chance to get next seasons clothes now and at a good price. It's not last seasons mark downs that you buy because of course you need yet another bathing suit cover up in spite of the fact that you haven't been in a suit in 3 years, but it was only $5.99. No, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is chock full of goodies that you will actually wear (as soon as this damn heat lets up).
Now, of course, Nordstrom doesn't carry "tall" clothes, but that doesn't mean that the sale doesn't have some pieces that will work for us tall ladies. Below are some of my favorite finds.
Sleeveless Layering Pieces
My beloved, vintage sleeveless wool jacket has finally given up the ghost, so I'm in the market for a new sleeveless layering piece. These three are my favorites.
1. Halogen Long Merino Wool Blend Sweater Vest - This one is most like the piece I'm replacing and therefore I know it'll be perfect for fall and winter layering. As you can see, it's more than long enough for my giant self and is on sale for $44.90 (originally $68).
2. Halogen Sleeveless Turtleneck Sweater - Given my well-documented love of turtlenecks, it's no wonder I'm considering this piece. I basically just want to wear this turtleneck over another turtleneck. As for the length, a 5'10" reviewer says that it is more than long enough for her. Also on sale for $44.90 (originally $68).
3. Halogen Knit Zip Vest - This one I love because it's basically a long cape. In addition to turtlenecks, I also love capes and think this one would be perfect on someone with a taller frame. It's also available in gray and is on sale for $59.90 (originally $98).
You Say Dress, I Say Tunic
You see that tunic? Yeah, that's being sold as a dress. I know, I know, I laughed too. But, once I stopped laughing, I realized that would work as a tunic for my tall self.
1. Halogen Long Side Slit Cardigan - I love the speckled yarn in this sweater (also in solid colors) but what I love most is that a reviewer who says she is over six feet tall purchased this sweater and says that the arms are actually long enough! If you're in the market for a long-line cardigan, give this one a try. It's on sale for $49.90 (originally $78).
2. Leith Dolman Dress - Again, I'm skeptical of this piece as a dress, but I love it as a tunic. It's also available in black, olive and coral and is on sale for $38.90 (originally $58).
3. SARTO by Franco Sarto 'Garfield' Bootie - I don't need any more black booties, but if I did, it would be these. I love the low shaft and that oh-so-walkable heel. They are available up to size 13 and in four different colors - on sale for $79.90 (originally $128.95).
All the Color!
I like to wear more than black and grey during the colder months, so I was very, very encouraged to see all of the colorful fall clothes and shoes available this sale.
1. Diane von Furstenberg 'Aiden' Silk Blouse - A colorful, printed tie-neck silk blouse that's long enough for tall women? Yes, please! It's a splurge, to be sure, but one I think is totally worth it. On sale for $178.90 (originally $268).
2. Halogen V-Neck Lightweight Merino Cardigan - Colorful cardigans are basically my jam (is that still what kids are saying these days?). And this one is fabulous. I purchased it on presale in red and can personally attest that the arms are plenty long enough. In addition to red and mustard, it's also available in 7 other colors and 4 prints. On sale for $49.90 (originally $78).
3. Sam Edelman 'Reyanne' Spike Rand Flat - Speaking of color, how gorgeous is the color of these flats? They're also available in fuchsia as well as black and camel. I love the spike detail on the heel and the fact that they're available up to size 12. On sale for $69.90 (originally $109.95).
Chestnut and Navy
If you're not into brights for fall, that's weird, but I've got you covered as well. Can I interest you in some chestnut and navy?
1. Madewell Plaid Scarf - Gorgeous and cozy, this wool scarf is deconstructed in places so it's also cool. These oversized scarves are perfect for tall ladies because we have height enough to keep from being overwhelmed. On sale for $38.90 (originally $59.50).
2. SARTO by Franco Sarto 'Jolette" Penny Loafer - A penny loafer! In plaid! And available up to size 13! I absolutely love these for fall. On sale for $69.90 (originally $108.95).
3. Halogen 'Owen' Pointy Toe Ghillie Flat - Whether you call them lace-up flats or ghillie flats, there is no doubt that these shoes remain very on-trend for fall. I love this chestnut color, but these are also available in 4 other colors and a snake print. Available in up to size 12. On sale for $59.90 (originally $89.95).
Awesome Accessories
These pieces have nothing to do with being tall and everything to do with being awesome!
1. Nadri 'Crescent' Linear Hoop Earrings - In the market for some hoop earrings that aren't your average hoop earrings? Me too! And that's why I love this pair. I think they are so interesting and kind of tough. I'm definitely adding these to my list. On sale for $39.90 (originally $60).
2. Phase 2 Double Banded Wool Fedora - I was never a hat person until I moved to Pittsburgh where it is freezing (literally) in the winter and that tends to encourage the wearing of hats. This one is wool, it's a gorgeous color and the brim isn't so big you can't still watch where you're going (important for walking on icy sidewalks). On sale for $19.90 (originally $38).
3. Nadri 'Liberty Ear Crawlers - I love the ear crawler trend (even though they do make me think of The Wrath of Khan every time), but I've had a hard time finding a pair that works for me. I have sort of small ears so the crawlers that go the whole length of the ear don't work for me. But, these I believe will work, so I'll be giving them a try. On sale for $37.90 (originally $58).
Now, remember, the prices on all of these items and everything else on sale as part of the Anniversary Sale go back up to the original prices on August 8th. Also keep in mind that even if something is sold out, they may get more, or it may be returned, so keep an eye out.
How about you, Reader Friends? Are you shopping the NAS? Any good finds so far?

Five for Friday: Turquoise
As we discussed earlier on the blog today, I adhere to the old saying "When in doubt, turquoise." This is especially true of my earring choices. I'll pretty much put turquoise, or turquoise-colored, earrings with anything.
So, for today's Five for Friday, I thought I'd share five pairs of turquoise earrings that will go with everything. Every. Thing.
1. 925 Sterling Silver Earrings - As you can see, these earrings are turquoise and then some, but that makes them all the more versatile. Trust me; I was gifted a similar pair and they really do go with everything.
2. Peermont Gold & Pearl Ball Drop Earrings - These earrings are the perfect size when you want a little turquoise, but not too much.
3. Frieda Rothman Triangle Stud Earrings - If the above earrings are still too big for you, we need to have a talk. And in that talk I'll recommend that you try this Frieda Rothman pair. They may be small, but the turquoise really pops against the black so they're not boring.
4. Adia Kibur Maya Earrings - Turquoise and fringe are a match made in boho heaven. And who doesn't want to visit boho heaven?
5. Kate Spade New York Cluster Stud Earrings - If you prefer your turquoise on the sparkly side, these earrings are for you. The turquoise-colored stones are paired with rhinestones to add the perfect pop of shiny color.
What about you, Reader Friends? Do you subscribe to the "When in doubt, turquoise" school of thought?
Happy Friday, All!

Five for Friday: Peach Echo
Now that it's finally, truly, summer, I am looking to wear more summery colors. Colors like coral, or, as Pantone likes to call it, Peach Echo. And I figured that I haven't done a Five for Friday post recently, so I thought I'd do one for Coral, I mean Peach Echo (but really, I mean Coral and I suspect Pantone does too).
Here my current five favoriteCoral Peach Echo pieces for this summer:
1. Target Women's Floppy Hat - Hats are a great way to protect yourself from the sun. And cute, striped, floppy hats are the best way to protect yourself from the sun. That's science.
2. Wayf Blouson Midi Dress - Lightweight, gorgeous color, midi length, this dress has it all. It would be perfect for a summer wedding.
3. Kate Spade New York Kensley Sandals - Neutral sandals with a coral heel? Yes, please! It's a bit spendy, but I think it's worth it.
4. Old Navy Mid-Rise Pixie Pants - These pants are fantastic for the office in the summer. And, they are available in Tall as well as Regular and Petite sizes, so, yay!
5. Banana Republic Mixed Media Earrings - I have these in a navy/turquoise colorway and they are awesome in person. They are big and bold and perfect for a summer date night!
What about you, Reader Friends? What's your favorite Peach Echo piece?
Happy Friday, All!

Five for Friday: Multi Stripe
Earlier today I posted about one of my favorite Spring trends, the Multi Stripe trend. I love that this trend is fun and colorful and bold. And, also surprisingly versatile; multi stripes can be worn in a variety of pieces, all of which pack a definite punch.
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Melody Multi Stripe Midi Dress - I love the mix of colors in these stripes and the length is even long enough for my tall self! It's a perfect representation of this trend and a perfect piece for summer.
2. LOFT Strappy Cami - Don't let the strappiness of this top put you off. I have a couple of these types of tops from LOFT and they're very wearable and easily layered for work.
3. Topshop Deckchair Midi Skirt - The mix of chevron stripes and vertical stripes adds even more interest to this pretty skirt. I'd pair it with a simple black silk blouse and chunky sandals.
4. Ralph Lauren Sofia Striped Scarf - This is such a cheery scarf, I absolutely love the color scheme. It's the perfect piece for an overcast Spring days.
5. J. Crew Underwire Halter One Piece - Like the dress, the mix of colors in this suit is unexpected but perfect. And the variation of the width of the stripes has a surprising slimming effect.

Five for Friday: Green Flash
For my last Five for Friday, I did a color, I love, Fiesta! For today's version, I decided to do a color that I'm still on the fence about, Green Flash.
And, I have to say, I am newly on the fence about this color. When the new Pantone colors were first announced, I was firmly on Team Oh-Hell-No about Green Flash. But, it's growing on me and might even be something I try in one of the below pieces:
1. Saint Laurent "Classic 11" Sunglasses - I love, love, love the idea of sunnies mirrored with green flash lenses. This pair is definitely on the steep side, but they're also awesome and would look fabulous with an all-white look.
2. Saucony Originals Jazz O Classic Retro Running Shoe - Athleisure continues to be a trend that many people enjoy. It's not my personal favorite, but even I have to admit there is something charmingly retro about these bright sneaks.
3. Bindya Houndstooth Print Scarf - This is probably my favorite deployment of green flash; mixed with other bright colors on a black background. And as I've always said, a lightweight scarf is perfect for an air-conditioned summer office.
4. Vintage Kay Windsor Summer Dress - Do you love Green Flash? Well, then, this pick is for you. Go all in with a vintage dress from Etsy vendor AldaWild.
5. Topshop "Matisse" Floral Print Shorts - I love these shorts. Love the print (again, Green Flash and other brights on a black background), love the cut, love the 80s feel. Love.
So, Reader Friends, how do you feel about Green Flash? On board? On the fence? Or on Team Oh-Hell-No?
Happy Friday, All!

Five for Friday: Fiesta!
Of course, today's Five for Friday had to be all about my favorite Pantone color for this Spring, Fiesta! I love this orange-y red hue and think it's perfect for the season. And retailers seem to think so as well; there are a LOT of Fiesta pieces on the market right now.
Here are five of my favorites:
1. J. Crew Peacock Diamond Scarf - I love lightweight scarves for Spring and even wear them into Summer to battle the air conditioning at work. This one will work with everything from a chambray shirtdress to a white tee.
2. Madewell "Transport" Fringe Tote - Totes just seem like the easiest, best, least fussy option for a summer bag. This one is roomy and has handles long enough to throw over your shoulder, but short enough to carry in your hand. Basically, it's perfect.
3. Bettye by Bettye Muller "Buzz" Sandals - I don't know what it is about Bettye Muller, but she totally has my number when it comes to shoes. I love the walk-able block heel and the amazing print on these. They're a bit of a splurge, but one I will probably make.
4. L. Erickson "Grace" Crystal Stud Earrings - I am a huge proponent of big ol' stud earrings and think this pair is the perfect way to add a little Fiesta to a look.
5. eShakti Crepe Midi Skirt - So, Fiesta and Navy? A match made in heaven. As is demonstrated on this fabulous eShakti skirt. Not in the market for a skirt? This print is also available on their Allison dress and this belted dress.
How about you, Reader Friends? Are you feeling this color as much as I am?
xoxo,
Gracey

Five for Friday: Iced Coffee
For today's Five for Friday, I decided to tackle one of the Pantone colors that I am not all that excited about, Iced Coffee. This was one of this season's colors that, when announced, I was like, "yeah... but no thanks." But, I'm working on being an equal opportunity color wearer so I poked around the interwebs for some Iced Coffee items that were wearable to my bright-loving self.
And, I have great news. There are wearable Iced Coffee items available; items like these:
1. Panacea Smoky Crystal Earrings - So, it turns out that I rather like Iced Coffee, as long as it has a little shimmer and shine like these earrings.
2. eShakti Vine Print Dress - And, Iced Coffee as part of a print is definitely do-able, especially on a midi dress like this one. The sleeves aren't my favorite, but, it's eShakti, so you can change them if you want!
3. LOFT Linen Cotton Sweater - If I were to ever do a solid piece in Iced Coffee it would be something like this simple, lightweight sweater.
4. Urban Originals Feather Print Scarf - Again, I like this color best in a print and think this pairing with fuchsia and orange is gorgeous.
5. Vince Camuto "Lavette" Booties - This is probably my favorite iteration of Iced Coffee. If you're looking for a neutral summer shoe, I think these are just perfect. And on-trend in all the ways.
What about you, Reader Friends? What are your feelings on Iced Coffee? Wearable, or just for drinking?
Happy Friday, All!

Five for Friday: Buttercup
I've decided to stop being lazy and bring back my Five for Friday series.
Today is all about the Pantone Spring 2016 color, Buttercup. I posted an outfit featuring Buttercup earlier today. And now I'm sharing some of my favorite Buttercup finds for this spring.
1. LOFT Multi-Stone Earrings - I have these earrings; and have worn them several times since purchasing them. They are the perfect injection of little yellow into a look. Love.
2. Vince Camuto Crossbody Bag - A lot of people don't like wearing yellow. If you're one of those people, but are still looking for a way to add a little sunshine to your spring looks, this bag is perfect. Soft leather and the perfect size in an easy-to-wear shade.
3. Corso Como "Gladis" Espadrille Wedge - I strongly recommend a yellow sandal for summer. There are more versatile than you might think and espadrilles are very on trend this season.
4. LOFT Pants - If you like your yellow bright, these are the pants for you! I personally think they're super fun and a great addition to a spring wardrobe.
5. Halogen Tweed Skirt - I adore this tweedy yellow skirt like nobody's business. The only thing stopping me from purchasing it is that I don't need another skirt. But, it's so perfect, maybe I do...
What about you, Reader Friends? Will you be adding a little sunshine to your wardrobe this season?
XOXO,

Onecklace for Christmas
If you remember, last year I was given the opportunity to review a necklace from the kind people at Onecklace.
I chose the "Alegro" name necklace:
I love that necklace, and I wear it all the time.
Well, this year, I partnered with Onecklace once again, this time to choose a review a couple of Christmas presents from them. In their Christmas Collection, they have so many great options, but I ended up selecting another name necklace. This time it's the "Carrie" in 24K gold plate:
And I also selected one of the sterling silver Circle Initial Necklaces:
All three of these necklaces are currently on sale, along with several other pieces at Onecklace, including monogram necklaces, bar necklaces and personalized bracelets. And, with the code FFG10, my Reader Friends can get an additional 10% off of the already-lowered prices.
So, if you're still looking for Christmas gifts, I highly recommend Onecklace. As I said before, I wear my necklace all the time and believe my gifts will be well-received.
Happy Shopping, All!

Fifteen for (Black) Friday
As I'm sure most (probably all) of you know, today is Black Friday and that means deals all over the interwebs. Below are fifteen of my favorite deals.
The Accessories
1. Banana Republic Long Leather Gloves: I purchased some long leather gloves years ago at Target, and they're one of the best purchases I've ever made. They're perfect for wearing with bracelet-length coats as well as those coats that are bracelet-length on you just because you have long arms. Use code BRFRIDAY to get 40% off of these gloves and everything else at Banana Republic except for sweaters, which are 50% off.
2. Kate Spade Glitter Studs - Nordstrom: Kate Spade is offering more colors in her glitter studs, including black and opal shown above. I already have some in the multi-colored glitter (because, of course) from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I'm honestly considering getting the black now that they're back on sale. And you should get some too. We can be glitter twins!
3. Darjeeling Infinity Scarf - Anthropologie: Anthro is offering 25% off of everything on their site with the code SHOPTOIT and that includes this gorgeous scarf. I absolutely love the brightly colored thread woven throughout the black and white print.
The Blues
4. Heather Permitting Cardigan - Modcloth: I love the bits of red on this heathered navy cardigan. And the length is perfect for wearing with skinny jeans and boots on the weekend. It's 20% off at Modcloth and other items are up to 40% off today.
5. Old Navy Plaid Pea Coat: I love pea coats and I've outgrown mine so I'm seriously considering this one in beautiful blue plaid. Especially as it's on sale for $24!!! I know!!! Everything at Old Navy is on sale for at least 40% off, with some items up to 60% off.
6. Gap Resolution Skinny Flare Jeans: I have these flares (I blogged them here) and I love them more every time I wear them. If you're in the market for a flared jean, I highly recommend them. And, today, you can get them for 50% off, along with everything else on Gap's site, with the code BLKFRIDAY.
7. David & Young Floppy Wool Panama Hat - Nordstrom: As I mentioned before, I need a brimmed hat to keep the snow off of my glasses this winter. This one is such a beautiful blue and such a great price that I don't think I'll be able to resist. And, like other select sale items at Nordstrom, it is an additional 25% off the sale price this weekend!
8. Almora Scarf - Anthropologie: It should surprise absolutely no one that I'm madly in love with this scarf. I love the pattern and the blues are so pretty I can't hardly stand it. Once again, use the code SHOPTOIT to get 25% off today.
Burgundy
9. LOFT Cropped Linen Pants: Although my love for blue remains strong, I've been wearing the heck out of shades of burgundy this fall, including these exact pants (blogged here). They do come in black as well, but I've found the burgundy to be surprisingly versatile and oh-so-pretty. You can get them for 40% off today with the code BF40.
10. Gap Merino Wool Sweater: I don't often buy things in multiples because when I do, only one gets worn and the others get ignored. But, this sweater is so perfect for work that I have it, and wear it, in three colors, including this gorgeous plummy burgundy. I recommend sizing up and it runs a bit short so order a tall if you want more length. Once again, use the code BLKFRIDAY to get 50% off of this sweater and everything else at Gap.
11. Impressed for Time Bootie - Modcloth: I love burgundy booties and everything about this one appeals to me, from the shape to the heel height to the buckles. It's a great vegan option and it's on sale for under $40 today.
Prints and Patterns
12. Svetla Lace Pencil Skirt - Anthropologie: I'd probably be obsessed with this skirt if it were just printed, but it's actually a colored lace overlay and I think it's beyond perfection. And it's 25% off with the code SHOPTOIT.
13. Eliza J Ponte Dress - Nordstrom: Okay, yes, this dress is a little busy. But, I like busy. And I love the colors. It's not available in Tall, but I'm betting the length will be manageable even at my height. With an extra 25% off the sale price, it might be worth a try, especially with Nordstrom's everyday free shipping and returns.
14. Ann Taylor Tall Spotted Boiled Wool Skirt: If I hadn't just purchased this similar skirt in gray, I'd be all over this one. The print is, of course, great, but so is the texture of the boiled wool. You can get it for 50% off with the code CELEBRATE at Ann Taylor; in fact you can use that code for anything on the site.
The Sweater
15. LOFT Cable Sweater: Although I love my thin merino Gap sweaters from above, I also love a good textured sweater. And this one looks like a good one. It comes in the colors shown as well as a few more, including black and cream. I can't say for sure how it fits because I just ordered it, but I did get 40% off with code BF40 so it was definitely worth taking the shot.
What about you, Reader Friends? Are you doing any shopping today?
Happy (Black) Friday, All!

10/16/2015 Five for Friday: Ponchos
Ponchos started trending (again) heavily last fall, and they're back with a vengeance this year. And, I, for one, am not complaining. They're an easy, versatile piece (see styling tips at YLF), especially for fall. Or, if you're lucky enough to have mild winters, they'll work all winter long.
Here are five of my current favorites:
1. Gap Stripe Poncho: I love the neutral colors of this poncho; it makes it easy to wear over all sorts of layering tops from denim button-downs to turtlenecks.
2. Vintage Crocheted Poncho: Looking for a lady-like poncho with vintage appeal? Look no further than this crocheted piece from the etsy shop, The Retro Wardrobe. It's honest-to-goodness vintage and handmade right down to the buttons.
3. Reversible Geometric Pattern Poncho: I love, love, love the pattern on this poncho. And love the fact that it's reversible, so it's like getting two ponchos for the price of one. Win-win!
4. Cuddle Climate Poncho: This poncho has a gorgeous red and gray color scheme and is perfect (perfect!) for wearing over my beloved turtlenecks. I couldn't love it more.
5. eShakti Cape: You say poncho, they say cape. Same thing. Only, this version is a grown-up option more suited for work than for the pumpkin patch. And I do recommend this cape for work; I have, and love, last year's version.
What about you, Reader Friends? Will you be wearing a poncho this fall?

ASOS Sale Finds
ASOS is having a big sale right now, with a ton of items up to 70% off. Including Tall options.
Here are some of my favorite Tall finds from the sale (hover for price, click to shop):

Most of these pieces will transition well through fall, except for maybe the kimono. I just think the kimono is pretty.
What about you, Reader Friends? Are you shopping the ASOS sale?

10/2/15 Five for Friday: Biscay Bay
Today's Five for Friday features another Pantone Fall 2015 color, Biscay Bay:
Aaaaannnnddd...it's basically teal. But, that's okay. I like teal. I wasn't sure about it for fall/winter, but, once again, my Five for Friday finds have changed my mind.
1. Vince Beanie: Here's the thing. It gets real, real cold here in Western Pennsylvania during the winter and therefore I will be wearing beanies in a couple months. I'd love it if it were a cute slouchy beanie like this one.
2. Tasha Leopard Print Scarf: I love leopard print scarves. And I love leopard mixed with blue, or in this case, teal. It's such a fun, unexpected pairing.
3. Gap Plaid Shirt: Plaid is so perfect for fall, and this particular plaid is fantastic. The black and burgundy really make the teal pop.
4. ASOS Sweater in Tweed with Zip: I was all about over-sized sweaters last winter and my obsession continues. I love the side vents and asymmetric zip on this one. And the color is perfection.
5. Panacea Beaded Arrowhead Earrings: So pretty. So very, very pretty.
What about you, Reader Friends? Will you be dipping your toe into the Biscay Bay this season?
Happy Friday, All!

9/25/15 Five for Friday: Dried Herb
Pantone calls this color "Dried Herb" but you and I both know that it's just olive. Whatever they call it though, it's a great color and makes for some fabulous accessories. Olive/Dried Herb accessories are the focus of today's Five for Friday:
1. La Fiorentina Silk Scarf: The tie-dye on this scarf is lovely and silk will help keep your neck warm all winter without being too bulky.
2. House of Harlow Five Station Necklace: Station necklaces are great, graphic pieces and this piece incorporates texture as well. Win-win.
3. Sole Society "Hollie" Boots: I don't need more boots. I really truly don't. But, on the other hand, I don't have any olive boots so maybe I do need more boots. Especially two-tone boots with a walkable heel.
4. J. Crew New Balance Sneakers: I don't do the whole athleisure trend, but I'm warming to the idea of cute sneakers. And these are very cute; I love the mix of baby pink and olive.
5. Wool Felt Panama Hat: I am seriously considering a felt hat for this winter. I'm not usually a hat person, but I need something to keep the snow off my glasses and it may as well be this cute hat.
What about you, Reader Friends? How do you feel about olive accessories for fall? Would you wear any of these?
Happy Friday, All!

9/18/15 Five for Friday: Office-Friendly Fringe
I'm taking a break from the Pantone colors for Fall 2015 today. Instead, I'm offering five office-friendly fringe pieces:
Depending on your office, fringe can be a hard sell. Heck, if you're over the age of 22 and not drunk in a field at a music fest somewhere, fringe can be a hard sell. But, I, personally, love it and am always on the lookout for fringed pieces that are also office friendly. Like the sandals I'm wearing in today's earlier post.
And like these five pieces here:
1. Thakoon for DesignNation Houndstooth Fringe Cardigan: This cardigan is a great mix of herringbone and houndstooth print with the added fun of fringe. You know you need a cardigan for fall; you may as well make it a fun one!
2. Ann Taylor Skinny Fringe Scarf: Skinny scarves are very "in" this season and the combination of print and fringe makes this one special.
3. Rebecca Minkoff Fringe Y-Necklace: Y-necklaces are lovely pieces and the fringe adds great movement to this one. Wear it over a turtleneck to break up any uniboob action that might be going on. Unless that's your look, then you do you. Always.
4. Delman "Sade" Pointy Toe Flats: The combination of blue snake finish and trim makes this sleek flat feel both stylish and a little subversive. But, only a little, so you don't get fired for your "darned Slytherin shoes!"
5. LOFT Fringe Blanket Skirt: I love blanket skirts. They totally remind me of the 90s and I'm delighted they're back. This one is in the perfect combination of fall colors and comes in regular, petite and tall (yay!).
What about you, Reader Friends? Do you like a little fringe for the office?

9/11/15 Five for Friday: Cadmium Orange
When we first looked at the Pantone Fall 2015 colors, I wasn't really feeling Cadmium Orange. I'm happy to say that today's Five for Friday changed my mind.
1. eShakti Plaid Shirtdress - I adore the chambray collar on this dress and think it'll be so cute this fall with a leather belt and riding boots.
2. MARC by Marc Jacobs Retro Sunglasses - These sunglasses are perfect for those sunny fall days. The color is so fun and the shape is fantastic.
3. Gap Boatneck Tee - This is the piece that actually turned me around on Cadmium Orange. I adore the stripes and the boatneck together.
4. Vince Camuto Bib Necklace - This is my pick for those who don't like orange. Or believe that they can't wear orange near their faces. The soft orange of this necklace is fabulous and extremely wearable.
5. Halogen Mini Mosaic Scarf - This scarf is great because it's an orange print, not solid orange, making it easier to wear. And because it has the teeniest, tiniest, most adorable pom poms ever. PP4L! (Pom poms 4 Life)
What about you, Reader Friends? Would you wear any of these pieces? Or are you passing on Cadmium Orange this fall?

9/4/15 Five for Friday: Marsala
Hello and Happy Friday!
Today I'm back to featuring one of Pantone's colors for Fall 2015, Marsala:
As I said in this post, Marsala isn't one of my favorite colors for this fall. It's a little weak and dusty for me; I like my colors more saturated. And that is why, as you can see, I cheated a bit with my Marsala picks above, choosing some pieces with a deeper hue than the swatch. But, still, they're mostly Marsala. Mostly.
1. MICHAEL Michael Kors Studded Backpack - This is my favorite true Marsala piece because I adore the studs and the sporty-luxe feel.
2. Modcloth Casual Composure Cardigan - Okay, this isn't really Marsala, but it's really pretty and practically Marsala. And, it looks cozy as heck and is offered up to size 4x so I had to include it!
3. Nordstrom 'Luxe Animal' Scarf - I know this looks as though it's more burgundy than Marsala, but it's not. Those spots are Marsala surrounded by burgundy so it's totes appropriate. And totes pretty.
4. Jamberry Nail Wrap in Marsala Sky - I love the touches of gold on this wrap as well as the graphic nature of the design. I may not love Marsala but I'd absolutely rock this mani.
5. BP. Felt Floppy Hat - Yes, okay, fine, this hat is burgundy. But that ribbon trim is Marsala. And it's the perfect hat for fall.
What about you, Reader Friends? Will you be wearing Marsala or sticking to burgundy this fall?
Happy Friday, All!
