I do. Sometimes. Sort of.
But, I hate to buy workout wear. Mostly
because I sweat like a mad woman when I work out and I hate to spend money on
clothes I’m going to sweat all over.
Which is why these pants from Marika are just perfect:
One, because they were sent to me to try for free (I love
free) and two, because of their DryWick moisture-wicking technology. And, as an added bonus, these are the
Slimming Capri Legging with Tummy Control, so they not only wick away my sweat,
they slim me while doing it.
Seriously though, these pants are great. The Elasta-Tight fabric did feel like it was holding me in, but it didn’t squeeze me or
make me uncomfortable during pilates last night. I also like the fact that they have a high
waist. I hate my pants falling down
during workouts and these stayed put the entire time. The best part though was definitely the fact
that my lower body wasn’t soaked with sweat when I left class. That is always, always a problem for me but it wasn’t last night.
In fact, I’m seriously considering purchasing one of the
Marika Miracles tanks also. If you want to purchase a pieces of Marika
Miracles workout wear yourself, you can get 20% off of any full priced Marika
Miracles purchase through the month of May at Marika. Just use the promo code: MIRACLES at
checkout.
If do you purchase
some, be sure to let me know how you like them!
Gracey
P.S. Size-wise, these particular pants come in sizes S – XL and
I’m wearing the XL, but other items are available in up to 2XL.

Gracey you are built, girl. I was wondering if you worked out. I sweat like a mad woman but it is more about my age....ugh. I could watch someone workout and sweat...hope things are good with you. dawn suitcase vignettes xo
ReplyDeletei feel the same way about work-out clothes, but that hasn't stopped me from buying a zillion pairs of black running pants! you look adorable in your work-out wear!!
ReplyDeleteI have such a difficult finding gym clothes. I've always been skeptical of those individuals who can workout without sweating. I always leave the gym looking like I took a turn or three through the sprinklers. I usually just end up buying cheap men's t-shirts and workout pants at Target. I've also been known to wear tatty old band t-shirts. I'm totally cool that way. =P
ReplyDeleteWorkout wear is so hit or miss, isn't it? These workout pants seem like perfection, though! You've got me pondering whether I need some of my own...
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I'd wear them. Only I wouldn't look as good as you. You're in great shape, my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou know what I love? Those shoes! In contrast, my workout shoes are black and white which means they go with everything, but not nearly as cute. I think everyone loves to wear black to the gym. Always flattering, right?
ReplyDeleteI sweat a LOT when I work out too, and like you, I often wear black and dark colours because it hides the big wet spots :) A big portion of how much you sweat and WHERE you sweat (the head? the pits? the back?) is genetic so we just have to deal. Love the wicking fabrics too...at least they dry quickly and usually are light and comfy! Thanks for the tip on Marika :)
ReplyDeleteThose pants sound awesome! I'm seriously considering getting them, especially with that discount. I'm with you on the sweating like crazy thing - it makes me never want to shop for workout clothes. A few years ago I bought some of those moisture-wicking shirts from REI, and it's amazing how quickly they dry, but I've had them for so long now that they're starting to get holes everywhere :(
